The pilots can wear glasses or contact lenses? READ THIS?

Hi I'm Walter, I'm 13 and I want to become a pilot. However, I'm not very good distance vision – 20/20 near view …. 20/70 Far Sight. So my question is: can drivers wear glasses, contacts, or get LASIK? Thank you everyone for the feedback! Now I have to wait until I'm 17 to get my PPL.

I have horrible eye sight, and yet had no problem getting my medical certificate of first class with contacts. This is the highest class Medical. To simply become a private pilot's vision, even perfect is not required. A 3rd class medical (required for private pilot) requires only a vision of 20/40. But for a commercial pilot, 20/20 corrected is required.
