Normal light …
Normal light consists of waves vibrating in all different directions. Light that is polarized tends to have more waves vibrating in one direction. Polarized lenses block light except for one orientation. Since reflected light off of some surfaces tends to be polarized, polarized lenses oriented at 90 degrees to the surface will block much of the reflected light, which is what makes them so useful to fishermen to see past the reflected surface glare on water.

Polarized offers A LOT more distinction! I now work on a manatee tour in Tampa and the difference between using polarized and non is the difference between seeing and not seeing!!! If you’re in a boat… use the polarized!
